Living in Morocco for nearly 10 months and still not having been to all four of the imperial cities led to the decision to drive to Meknès from Casablanca on a very hot sunday afternoon...
And we got rewarded: several century old buildings, an impressive history, the Morocco-typical colourful tiles everywhere... enough to spend hours in amazement:
... and of course the dusty streets, with little market stands and its tiny garages, where the most beautiful Moroccan handcrafts are produced...
