Chefchaouen: ... and in how many blue-shades can a house be painted?

Chefchaouen... a 35.000 inhabitant village in the north-east of Morocco... not far from Tétouan in the rif-mountains. This is another city you shouldn't miss when travelling in Morocco.

It's incredibly beautiful with its steep narrow lanes and its doors, walls and even the floor painted in all kind of blue-shades you can possibly imagine. And also here I can recommend the same: better come around in spring or autumn... we had wonderful 42 degree last sunday...
