Marrakech is just a stone's throw from Casablanca and that's why this city is an ideal destination for one weekend.
Meanwhile there exist hundreds of the traditional Riads which have been transformed into beautifully decorated small hotels and guesthouses.
Below is one we have tested for a weekend... Riad Bel Haj... and we found it absolutely fabulous. See yourself how you like it:
I love the warm colours in combination with the traditional moroccan handicrafts, fabrics, carpets, lamps... and of course the whitewashed tadelakt walls...
Breakfast was served on the comfy couches on the roof terrace...
... from where we had a wonderful view onto the snow covered tops of the Atlas mountains...
What a great start into a weekend!!!
